Biography
My research focuses on understanding how children and adolescents adapt to adversity and stressful life experiences. I investigate the developmental pathways linking trauma and other adverse experiences to mental health and behavioral outcomes, while examining the role of social-emotional competence as a key developmental resource that supports resilience and positive youth development.

Development and Evaluation of a Novel Educator SEL Program
This study aims to develop a culturally-tailored SEL program for East Asian educators and to evaluate its feasibility and effectiveness for both educators and students.

Youth Social-Emotional Competence Assessment, Development, Predictors, and Outcomes
