Biography

My research is centered around social-emotional development and mental well-being of underrepresented and vulnerable children, youth, and families, with focus on three main topics: (1) exploring promotive and risk factors across multi-systems, (2) developing and validating instrument scales that demonstrate measurement invariance, and (3) developing, evaluating, and informing prevention and intervention programs, such as school-based social-emotional learning (SEL), poverty prevention, and child and family policy.

Development and Evaluation of a Novel Educator SEL Program

This study aims to develop a culturally-tailored SEL program for East Asian educators and to evaluate its feasibility and effectiveness for both educators and students.
