Biography

As a Senior Research Fellow at National Policy Research Institute in South Korea, I specialize in child and youth well-being indicators, while having served for many years as a co-investigator for the ISCWeB (Children's Worlds) project. My recent work focuses on social isolation and loneliness among children and young adults, NEET youth, and policy countermeasures.

The Development and Validation of the Multidimensional Assessment of Teacher Social-Emotional Competence (MATSEC)

This study aims to develop and validate a new measure of teachers’ social-emotional competence (SEC) that is comprehensive, practical, and culturally relevant in the East Asian school contexts and potentially other parts of the world.
